Chelsea Desk is not owned or operated by Chelsea Football Club. Coverage is independent. We do not accept payment for favourable coverage. Sponsored or partner content, if any, will be clearly labelled.

What we publish

News, analysis, transfer reporting, and opinion. Opinion pieces reflect the author's view and are labelled as such. News aims to separate verified fact from rumour; unverified claims are attributed and caveated.

Desk review

Stories go live only after desk review in our publishing workflow. That gate exists to catch errors, tone issues, and legal risk before readers see the piece.

Sources

We prefer on-the-record sourcing. When anonymity is necessary to protect a source, we explain why the claim is newsworthy and how it was corroborated. Rumours from social media are not treated as confirmation.
